THERAPY SERVICES

Stone Oak Therapy Services is structured to help each child reach his or her potential through carefully designed programs.  Our unique comprehensive intake process ensures every member of the clinical team contributes to every child’s program.

ALL of our chief therapists hold Master's degrees in their clinical area and are expected to exceed their annual requirement of seminars, conferences, and other educational sources to keep informed of the latest advances in their field.

Speech Language Pathology

Our clinical specialists in this area address pre-language skills, oral motor skills, feeding & swallowing, articulation, language (including receptive and expressive), pragmatics, and cognition.

Occupational Therapy

These therapy experts address needs that include fine & gross motor, eye-hand coordination, visual perception, motor planning, and sensory-processing tasks designed to improve overall performance and independence.

Physical Therapy

These clinicians are trained to help children develop and improve flexibility, strength, balance and coordination.  Gross motor skills are also targeted to help kids reach their developmental milestones.

Behavioral Therapy

We currently utilize two highly qualified therapists for our behavioral therapy program:

Kelle Schiesler, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), has worked with children with Autism & other developmental disabilities for the past 4 years.  She also has a Masters in Education from the University of Texas, Austin.

Lupe Castaneda, BCBA, worked with children and youth with Autism and other developmental disabilities for the Arlington ISD in Arlington, Texas during last 14 years.  He also has a Masters in Special Education.

If you feel that your child may benefit from the services of one or more of these areas, call us immediately at (210) 798-2273 or consult with your child's physician.  If you are not exactly certain, click on Diagnostics & Evaluations and review the milestones as established by The American Academy of Pediatrics.
